Our vision is for a vibrant church which is clearly growing spiritually, numerically and holistically, by facilitating the development of a network of diversely gifted people and organizations in and beyond the ACSA (Anglican Church in Southern Africa), dedicated to “Growing the Church”.

We are a church growth institute that serves the Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA). Trevor Pearce served as a parish priest for 24 years in and around the Cape Town area. At the age of 19, in the home of Bill Burnett, the Archbishop of Cape Town, Trevor gave his life to Christ. His spiritual gifts are in the areas of evangelism, leadership and administration. in Mission Studies (University of South Africa) and an M.A. Trevor also trained at the prestigious Haggai Institute in Singapore and in 1986 founded Haggai South Africa. In addition, Trevor is a founder member of the Transformation Prayer Movement, which began in South Africa in Under the direction of Graham Power, this has since grown into the Global Day of Prayer, which attracts millions of people worldwide to pray together each Pentecost Sunday. Trevor is happily married to Cheryl, and they have three grown-up sons. Working for the Anglican Church of Southern Africa for 12 years, Estelle joined Growing the Church as administrator in Serving on Applethwaite Farm in Elgin for three years, her work included community development and youth development. Estelle is married to Thurstan Adams and has two sons, Nathan-Ross and Ethan. IT & Media Consultant: Michael Künz Before joining the GtC staff, Michael ran his own photographic business for many years. He also ran FotoVideo with his wife, Tilly, providing a professional photographic and video service. This lead him to approach GtC in 2011 to explore ways in which he could combine his expertise as well as his calling to God's service. Through GtC, Michael provides IT support, website creation and hosting, photographic and videographic services, in addition to advice and training in digital media, to dioceses and parishes. Nelly comes to us through the channels of Learn to Earn in Khayelitsha, and she is a graduate of the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography. Nicole is in South Africa as a missionary from Nashville, Tennessee, USA. During her 13 years with devozine, she worked with the editor to transition the magazine from a print piece to a multi-platform resource, including print, digital and mobile components. Nicole loves working with young people and served as a volunteer youth worker for more than seven years. Using her background in youth ministry and publishing, Nicole helps Growing the Church meet the discipleship needs of young people by providing resources and training, as well as print and online resources for youth and the wider church, as needed. Nicole also serves as the Rooted in Jesus Junior Coordinator and oversees GtC’s Gap Year program. Nicole is newly married to Wayne, a South African, and is putting down roots in her adoptive country. But the rest of her family still lives in the States, and she is grateful for the technology that allows them to stay in touch.
