The scope entailed identification of each infrastructure, the status quo assessment/survey, description and nature of the damage, type of repair/intervention needed, estimated cost and the GPS co-ordinates. The project was successfully completed on time and within budget. The project entailed the rehabilitation and upgrade of sewer trunk mains in the Alexandra Township through pipe-cracking, CIPP lining and open-trench pipe installations. The project also received recognition from the Southern African Society of Trenchless Technology (SASTT).
